Hi there,

I'm going to VN in one month and would like to go to Halong Bay.

I have been reading all the forums but I am not sure which junk to book.

I have exchanged a few emails with First Choice and they have been really nice and helpful. They say they have Indochina Sail 1 and 2 and Valentine.

I am a little confused because not a single forum mentions them and they have given me the impression that they own these 3 boats.

We really want to go on the Valentine or Indochina 1/2. Did anyone go on this boat ? and who did you use to book it.

Indochina Sail  is great. I visited Ha Long bay with them in March. Nice food, friendly staff, good service... I recommend them for you.

I booked this tour via their website. I paid by credit card. They required the copy of my credit card, it was the only thing I don't like. But other thing is alright.


Actually, they own 3 boats like you sad. Valentine is more private and luxury. But it was out of my budget.

Have nice trip on Ha Long bay, I really like it.

Just back from Vietnam and did the 2day/1 night tour on Halong Bay on the Valentine. It was SUPERB. First class luxury. Only 5 cabins and we were lucky enough to have a really good mix of people to share the cruise with. The food is to die for and well prepared. My partner is a vegetarian and the staff went out of their way to prepare separate meals for her.

Indochina Sails 1 and 2 plus the Valentine are all owned by Indochina Sails group.

Do the kayaking trip as its well worth the effort and cave expedition is an eye opener.
